Tomato Jam Indian Recipe


Ingredients :

  • 700 Gram Red Tomato very good ripe
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoons Fresh Grated Ginger
  • 4 - 5 Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Jira
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dal-chini
  • 1/8 Teaspoon cloves (Laung)
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Red Chili powder for taste

How to make : 

  1. Heat Oil in medium temperature
  2. Add chopped Garlic and cloves 
  3. Cook until garlic is soft and translucent
  4. Add diced tomatoes with lime juice, sugar, salt, jira, ginger.
  5. Cook over medium heat until almost all liquid evaporates and mixture is reduce to about 1/4 cups
  6. About 10 minutes your tomato jam is ready.
